PRIVACY
What we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Buzzworks Technology (Pty) Ltd, registration 2025/318372/07, is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. We are the responsible party for the personal information described in this notice, as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
Our Information Officer can be reached at hello@buzzworks.co.za.
When you send the contact form or email us, we receive what you choose to give us:
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and the pages requested. We use them only to keep the site secure and working.
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to arrange and carry out the free assessment you asked for. We do this because you asked us to. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or rent personal information.
This website and our email are hosted in South Africa by Domains.co.za, which processes the information on our behalf. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
If your enquiry does not lead to an engagement, we delete it within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep contact and service records for as long as the contract and the law require.
Enquiries are delivered to a mailbox that only our engineers can access. Access is password-protected, and the site is served over an encrypted connection.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email hello@buzzworks.co.za and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa. Contact details are on its website, inforegulator.org.za.
This notice covers this website and enquiries made through it. Personal information we handle while delivering services to a client is governed by our agreement with that client, including an operator agreement where POPIA requires one.
We update this page when our practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top.
